Job description for Front Desk Receptionist at Snooze Hostel Ijen
Snooze Hostel Ijen sits in Banyuwangi, close to Mount Ijen and its famous blue fire. Our guests come from Indonesia and all over the world, and all of them want a calm, friendly place to rest. As our Front Desk Receptionist, you are the face of the hostel. You will be the first smile guests see and the last goodbye is yours too.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Welcome guests and create a positive first impression
- Manage check-in, check-out, and reservations
- Answer guest questions and handle complaints professionally
- Work with the team to deliver excellent service
- Keep the reception area and property clean and tidy
- Maintain accurate document
- Build lasting relationships so guests return
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Good problem-solving and time management
- Team-oriented and proactive
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
- Hostel experience is a plus, but not required
