JOB DESCRIPTION
Position:
Front Desk Agent (FDA) – Surfcamp
The Front Desk Agent is responsible for being the first point of contact for guests, ensuring all guests receive a friendly, comfortable, and professional service from check-in until check-out, and during their stay at the surfcamp.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Welcome and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner.
2. Handle check-in and check-out procedures.
3. Manage reservations (walk-in, WhatsApp, email).
4. Provide information about :
* Surf packages
* Surf lesson schedules
* Surfcamp facilities
* Activities and nearby attractions
5. Coordinate with :
* Surf instructors
* Housekeeping
* Drivers / transportation
* Kitchen / F&B team
6. Arrange and update guest schedules, surf schedules, and daily activities
7. Handle guest complaints politely and professionally.
8. Manage front office administration :
* Guest data input
* Daily reports
* Cash and payment handling
9. Ensure the front desk area is always clean, tidy, and presentable.
10. Assist in upselling :
* Surf lessons
* Extra nights
* Transportation
* Merchandise or additional packages
Qualifications :
* Minimum education: High School / Vocational School / Diploma
* Experience in hotel, hostel, or surfcamp is an advantage
* Able to communicate in English (basic to intermediate level)
* Friendly, communicative, and well-groomed
* Familiar with using WhatsApp, email, and computer systems
* Willing to work in shifts, weekends, and public holidays
* Honest, responsible, and able to work in a team
* Enjoy interacting with guests (especially international guests)
