Job description for Freight Forwarding Staff at Pt. Sinotrans Csc Indonesia
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end to end import and export shipment processes.
- Coordinate with customers, shipping lines, airlines, trucking vendors, and overseas agents.
- Prepare and review shipping documents (BL, Invoice, Packing List, COO, etc.).
- Arrange booking, customs clearance, transportation, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor shipment status and ensure timely delivery.
- Resolve operational issues and provide shipment updates to customers.
- Maintain shipment records, invoicing, and operational reports.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and company procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or shipping operations.
- Strong understanding of import/export procedures and shipping documentation.
- Familiar with customs clearance processes and international trade regulations.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Able to manage multiple shipments and work under tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Fluent in English; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
