We're Hiring: Freelance Video Editor
Safe Nusa | Remote | Freelance
Safe Nusa is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting digital literacy, digital safety, and responsible digital citizenship in Indonesia. We are looking for a creative and passionate Freelance Video Editor to help us produce engaging and impactful video content for social media and digital campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Edit short-form and long-form videos for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other digital platforms.
2. Create engaging video content that aligns with Safe Nusa's branding and communication strategy.
3. Add motion graphics, subtitles, transitions, sound effects, and background music to enhance storytelling.
4. Transform educational and research-based content into visually appealing and easy-to-understand videos.
5. Collaborate with the communications team to develop creative concepts for digital campaigns.
6. Ensure all video content is delivered on time and meets quality standards.
7. Optimize videos according to platform specifications and current social media trends.
8. Organize and manage video assets, project files, and editing workflows efficiently.
9. Revise video content based on feedback from the communications team.
10. Stay updated with the latest video editing techniques, trends, and best practices for digital storytelling.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Communication, Multimedia, Film, Visual Communication Design, or a related field (Fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
2. Minimum 1 year of experience in video editing is preferred (internship or freelance experience is also considered).
3. Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or similar video editing software.
4. Basic skills in motion graphics using Adobe After Effects or similar software are an advantage.
5. Strong storytelling, visual communication, and creative thinking skills.
6. Familiarity with current social media trends and short-form video content.
7. Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
8. Detail-oriented with a strong sense of design, pacing, and audio-visual quality.
9. Passionate about digital literacy, digital safety, education, or social impact initiatives.
10. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a remote team.
