As our projects grow, we are looking for a Freelance Senior Project Manager to join our team and ensure that our build projects run smoothly, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Timeline Management: Oversee and manage project schedules, ensuring milestones are met and deadlines are achieved.
- Material Management: Coordinate and oversee the purchasing, delivery, and availability of materials to prevent delays in project progression.
- Team Coordination: Work closely with designers, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless communication and execution.
- Site Management: Conduct regular site visits (as needed) to monitor progress, address challenges, and ensure work quality aligns with design intent.
- Budget Oversight: Track project budgets, manage expenses, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Anticipate potential issues and implement proactive solutions to maintain project flow.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in interior design and build projects, preferably in commercial spaces.
- Strong understanding of project scheduling, material procurement, and vendor management.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills for working with diverse teams and clients.
- Knowledge of interior design processes and construction methodologies is a plus.
- Familiarity with project management tools and software is an advantage.
- Availability to travel for site visits and meetings, if required.
