Freelance Project Manager – Event Organizer
Placement: Jakarta
We are looking for a Freelance Project Manager to support our upcoming event in Jakarta. This role is highly hands-on and responsible for managing the project end-to-end, from preparation and coordination to event execution.
Responsibilities:
Manage the event project from preparation, coordination, setup, execution, until breakdown.
Create and monitor event timelines, task lists, and project deliverables.
Coordinate and communicate closely with vendors, suppliers, venue, crew, and internal teams.
Follow up with vendors and ensure all requirements are delivered according to the agreed timeline and specifications.
Conduct site visits, technical meetings, rehearsals, and event preparations as required.
Monitor event setup, production, logistics, and operational readiness.
Troubleshoot issues on-site and make quick decisions during event execution.
Ensure the event runs smoothly according to the client's requirements and project timeline.
Provide regular project updates and escalate critical issues when necessary.
Requirements:
Minimum 2–3 years of experience as Project Manager / Event Project Manager in an Event Organizer, MICE, Wedding, or similar industry.
Proven experience handling events end-to-end.
Strong vendor and supplier coordination skills.
Excellent communication, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
Able to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Hands-on, proactive, and detail-oriented.
Willing to work on-site in Jakarta during the project period.
Available for a 2-week freelance assignment.
Having a strong network of event vendors/suppliers in Jakarta is a plus.
