Job description for Formulation Assistant at Harlette Beauty
Job Descriptions :
- Assist in developing and conducting formulation trials for new and existing cosmetic products.
- Participate in formulation discussions by providing ideas, observations, and input based on formulation knowledge and trial results.
- Prepare raw materials, samples, and laboratory equipment for formulation trials and testing.
- Conduct and document formulation trials, results, and observations accurately.
- Support product testing and production-scale trials as needed.
- Operate basic laboratory equipment such as pH meter, viscometer, etc.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, materials, cleanliness, and organization.
- Support Product Innovation Development activities as required.
Requirements :
- Minimum SMK Pharmacy, Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science, or related fields.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in cosmetic formulation/R&D is preferred.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of cosmetic formulation, raw materials, and dosage forms.
- Familiar with basic laboratory equipment and practices.
- Basic knowledge of CPKB is preferred.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to document trial results accurately.
- Proactive and comfortable contributing ideas and discussing formulations with the team.
- Willing to learn and develop knowledge in cosmetic formulation and laboratory work.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Willing to work hands-on in the laboratory and maintain lab cleanliness and organization
