Job description for FMCG Account Manager at Everything Banana
Everything Banana Chips (EBC) is one of Indonesia’s fastest-growing premium banana chip brands. We work directly with local farmers and produce high-quality snacks that are enjoyed across Indonesia, Singapore, and Malaysia.
As we continue to grow, we are looking for an energetic and commercially minded FMCG Account Manager to help expand our business and strengthen relationships with our customers.
Key Responsibilities
# Account Management
- Manage and grow relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers and key accounts.
- Be the primary point of contact for assigned customers.
- Conduct regular customer visits and business reviews.
- Ensure excellent customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
# Business Development
- Identify and acquire new customers across General Trade (GT), Modern Trade (MT) and other sales channels.
- Develop sales opportunities and negotiate commercial agreements.
- Expand EBC’s distribution footprint across Indonesia.
# Sales Performance
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Monitor sales trends and customer performance.
- Recommend strategies to increase sales and profitability.
- Prepare regular sales forecasts.
# Trade Marketing
- Work closely with the Marketing team on promotions and product launches.
- Ensure products are displayed effectively in stores.
- Monitor merchandising and promotional execution.
- Gather market intelligence on competitors, pricing and consumer trends.
# Cross-functional Coordination
- Coordinate with Operations to ensure timely deliveries.
- Work with Finance on customer payments and credit control.
- Support new product launches and customer onboarding.
# Reporting
- Prepare weekly sales reports.
- Update customer pipelines and opportunities.
- Track KPIs and account performance.
- Present monthly business reviews to management.
# Requirements #
Experience
- 3–6 years of experience in FMCG Sales or Account Management.
- Experience managing distributors and key accounts.
- Strong understanding of Indonesia’s FMCG market.
- Experience in snacks, beverages or food products is highly preferred.
Skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong commercial mindset.
- Able to analyse sales data and identify opportunities.
- Good presentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Comfortable using CRM systems and digital reporting tools.
