Job Brief:
Our client is seeking a Financial Division Head to oversee the hospital’s finance and accounting operations, ensuring strong financial governance, efficiency, and compliance. Reporting directly to the Hospital Director and coordinating closely with Group Finance, this role is responsible for leading budgeting, financial planning, revenue cycle management, and internal controls. The Financial Division Head will play a strategic role in safeguarding the hospital’s financial health while supporting its growth and service excellence goals.
Job Description:
- Oversee the end-to-end finance function, including accounting, budgeting, cash flow, billing, and collections.
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with hospital business objectives.
- Lead annual budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis to ensure cost control and efficiency.
- Manage hospital revenue cycle processes (insurance claims, patient billing, receivables).
- Establish and enforce robust financial controls to ensure compliance with hospital policies, group standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, reports, and management dashboards.
- Partner with hospital leadership to support decision-making with financial insights and analysis.
- Monitor and manage capital expenditure (CapEx) and operating expenditure (OpEx) allocations.
- Supervise and develop finance team members to build a high-performing division.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors, tax consultants, and regulators.
- Drive digitalization of finance processes to improve efficiency and transparency.
- Provide strategic input to hospital leadership on financial sustainability and cost optimization initiatives.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree or CPA/CA/ACCA certification preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of finance experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role, preferably in healthcare, hospital, or service industries.
- Proven experience in budgeting, financial planning, and revenue cycle management.
- Strong understanding of healthcare financing systems, BPJS/insurance claims, and hospital billing processes.
- Solid knowledge of Indonesian taxation, PSAK, and regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, implement financial controls, and improve processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- High integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to confidentiality.
- Experience in ERP/finance systems and digital transformation in finance preferred.
