Order to Cash (OTC)
Role Purpose
The OTC Finance Analyst (Analyst) is responsible for the accurate and timely
execution of standard Order to Cash activities, supporting billing, cash application,
and accounts receivable management within a managed services environment.
This role focuses on disciplined execution, adherence to procedures, and early
identification of issues to support stable OTC delivery and predictable financial
outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
OTC Transaction Processing
Generate and post customer invoices in SAP based on approved data.
Perform cash application and clearing activities.
Support AR ageing review and customer payment follow-ups.
Process billing adjustments and credit notes under guidance.
Billing & Cash Accuracy
Validate basic billing data and supporting documents.
Identify billing errors, pricing mismatches, or missing information.
Support resolution of unapplied cash and payment discrepancies.
Controls & Compliance
Execute assigned control checks and retain required evidence.
Ensure compliance with OTC procedures, policies, and approval requirements.
Support audit and compliance activities as required.
Issue Identification & Escalation
Identify processing errors, delays, or mismatches early.
Perform initial investigation and prepare clear escalation documentation.
Escalate issues to Senior Analysts or Team Lead as appropriate.
Stakeholder & Team Support
Coordinate with internal teams to complete assigned tasks.
Respond to customer and internal queries related to billing and payments.
Support documentation and process updates.
Learning & Capability Development
Follow standard processes consistently.
Participate in training and knowledge-sharing activities.
Build functional understanding of OTC processes, systems, and controls.
Education Requirement
Minimum S1 (Bachelor’s degree) in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
Recommended Certifications
Basic accounting or finance training is an advantage.
Skills & Experience Required
Experience
1–3 years of experience in Order to Cash or Accounts Receivable operations.
Technical & Systems
Working knowledge of SAP FI-AR and SD.
Basic understanding of:
o Billing processes
o Cash application
o Accounts receivable ageing

Fluent in English (spoken and written).
