Job description for Finance Manager at Haiyetong
Job Responsibilities
- Take overall charge of financial management of the joint venture in Jakarta, including bookkeeping, business process optimization, financing, treasury management and tax compliance.
- Develop, implement and continuously improve the JV’s financial policies and internal control procedures, in compliance with Indonesian laws and regulations as well as the group’s internal framework and processes.
- Lead the preparation of the JV’s annual budget, monitor budget execution, conduct regular variance analysis and report to management and the Board of Directors.
- Manage company cash flow and prepare rolling cash flow forecasts to maintain stable cash position and balanced cash inflow and outflow.
- Administer corporate bank accounts; arrange all receipts and payments strictly in accordance with internal policies and approval matrix.
- Complete daily accounting and period-end closing following Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK).
- Prepare financial statements and management reports, and submit regular financial updates to business teams and the Board.
- Support finance requests from business departments, proactively identify financial risks and deliver practical solutions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Taxation, Economics or related disciplines.
- Proficient in using Accurate Accounting Software.
- Experience in logistics or freight forwarding industry is preferred.
- Fluent in Chinese is mandatory.
- Able to work daily in English is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of finance management experience. Candidates with freight forwarding, logistics or supply chain finance background are highly preferred.
- Good knowledge of Indonesian tax rules, PSAK and IFRS. Prior finance working experience in Indonesia is preferred.
- Hold Indonesian local accounting qualification (IAI / Akuntan Berpraktik) is preferred.
- Willing to travel to China for business trips as required.
- Excellent cross-department communication and coordination skills, with solid team management and team-building capabilities.
