Job description for Finance & Treasury Officer at NS TRADE
We are looking for a Finance & Treasury Officer to manage and oversee the company’s day-to-day financial operations, with a strong focus on payment execution, cash flow monitoring, transaction control, and financial administration.
Due to the nature of NS TRADE’s business, which operates in the trading education and digital community industry, financial transactions can be highly dynamic and time-sensitive. This role therefore requires a high level of availability, responsiveness, accuracy, and operational flexibility, particularly when handling payment releases, partner payments, commissions, and other urgent financial transactions.
This is a Work From Office (WFO) position, based in either Surabaya or Solo, with working hours of 09:00–17:00.
Requirements
* Minimum 1–2 years of experience in finance, accounting, treasury, or a related position.
* Strong understanding of daily financial operations and bank reconciliation.
* Experience handling company payments and financial transactions.
* Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
* Proficient in Google Sheets / Microsoft Excel.
* Able to manage multiple transactions and deadlines simultaneously.
* Strong organizational and documentation skills.
* High level of integrity and confidentiality.
* Able to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
* Highly responsive and operationally flexible.
* Comfortable working in a fast-moving business environment.
* Willing to work WFO in Surabaya or Solo.
* Comfortable handling time-sensitive financial operations outside standard working hours when genuinely required.
Key Responsibilities
1. Daily Finance Operations
* Manage and monitor daily financial transactions.
* Record and reconcile incoming and outgoing transactions.
* Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
* Monitor company cash flow and daily cash position.
* Prepare regular financial reports and transaction summaries.
* Ensure all financial records are complete, accurate, and properly documented.
2. Payment & Treasury Management
* Process and execute company payments according to approved procedures.
* Manage payment schedules for vendors, partners, employees, and other stakeholders.
* Handle time-sensitive payment requests and ensure they are processed within the required timeframe.
* Monitor bank balances and ensure sufficient funds are available for operational requirements.
* Coordinate with management regarding payment approvals and fund allocation.
* Maintain and safeguard company banking access and transaction credentials.
3. Commission & Member Payments
* Manage the operational process for member and affiliate commission payments.
* Calculate and verify commission amounts based on approved company records.
* Ensure commission payments are accurate and properly documented.
* Coordinate payment schedules with the relevant teams.
* Maintain a clear record of all commission disbursements.
4. Financial Control
* Reconcile bank transactions against internal financial records.
* Identify discrepancies, unusual transactions, or potential errors.
* Maintain proper documentation for every financial transaction.
* Ensure financial procedures are followed consistently.
* Support management in maintaining proper financial controls and accountability.
5. Operational Availability & Flexibility
Due to the nature of the business, the Finance function at NS TRADE requires a level of operational flexibility beyond standard office hours.
While the primary working schedule is 09:00–17:00 WFO, the Finance Officer is expected to remain reasonably reachable outside office hours when urgent financial operations require attention.
The Finance Officer may be required to securely manage or access the company’s designated banking authorization tools, including BCA token/transaction authorization, when specifically authorized and required for urgent business operations.
This responsibility requires a high level of trust, integrity, responsiveness, and discretion.
6. Work From Office Requirement
This is a mandatory WFO position.
The successful candidate must be willing to work from one of the following locations:
Option 1 — Surabaya
Option 2 — Solo
Working hours:
Monday–Friday | 09:00–17:00
The WFO requirement is important because the Finance function works closely with management, operations, sales, and other teams on a daily basis and requires fast coordination for financial decisions and transactions.
