Job description for finance & Accounting at Mahatma Gandhi School
Mahatma Gandhi School is looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Finance & Accounting Staff to support the school’s daily financial and accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle daily accounting and financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare invoices, receipts, payment documents, and financial records.
- Assist with monthly financial closing and financial reporting.
- Perform bank reconciliation and maintain accurate accounting records.
- Support payroll-related accounting and employee payment administration.
- Assist with tax administration, including PPh 21, PPh 23, PPh 4(2), PPN, and other applicable tax obligations.
- Prepare and maintain tax documents and support monthly tax reporting.
- Ensure financial transactions are properly documented and recorded in accordance with company policies.
- Assist with budgeting, expense monitoring, and financial analysis when required.
- Coordinate with internal departments, auditors, banks, and external parties regarding finance and accounting matters.
- Maintain proper filing and confidentiality of financial and employee-related documents.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Finance & Accounting.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and Indonesian taxation.
- Experience in tax administration and reporting is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in a school or educational institution is an advantage.
- Good command of English is preferred.
