Job description for Finance & Accounting Supervisor at PT. IBJS
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Financial Reporting
• Supervise recording of transactions in SAP Business One, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Perform account reconciliation (bank, AP, AR, inventory) and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure proper cost allocation and closing process is completed on schedule.
2. Tax Compliance
• Oversee calculation, payment, and reporting of PPh 21, PPh 23, PPh 4(2), PPN, and other applicable taxes.
• Tax planning in advance with company's fiscal projection.
• Ensure timely submission of tax filings (SPT Masa/Tahunan) in coordination with tax consultant if applicable.
• Monitor changes in tax regulations and ensure company compliance.
3. Cash Flow & Treasury
• Monitor daily cash position and coordinate with banks for transactions.
• Supervise AP/AR aging and follow up on collections/payments.
• Support budgeting and cash flow forecasting.
• Monitoring & comply with vendor's payment schedule.
4. Internal Control & Audit
• Implement and monitor internal control procedures over financial transactions.
• Liaise with external auditors and prepare audit schedules/documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company SOP's and financial policies.
• Ensure documentations filed with accordance.
5. Team Supervision
• Supervise, review, and check all documents related to Finance & Accounting.
• Allocate tasks and ensure deadlines (payroll cutoff, tax deadlines, closing dates) are met.
• Coordinate with HR & GA on payroll-related accounting entries and BPJS/PPh 21 postings.
6. Reporting & Coordination
• Provide financial analysis and reports to management as needed.
• Coordinate with other departments (Sales, Purchasing, HR) on financial matters.
• Support ad hoc projects: cost analysis, pricing review, budget vs actual reports.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum above 5 years of experience in accounting/finance, with at least above 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations (PPh, PPN) and PSAK.
• Proficient in SAP Business One (or similar ERP) and Excel.
• Experience in trading/distribution company preferred.
• Strong leadership, attention to detail, and analytical skills.
• Brevet A/B tax certification is a plus.
