Job description for Finance / Admin Intern at SMECEN Pte Ltd
Responsible for performing the company’s finance functions, including:
- Assist Finance Manager in finance operations, to ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial positions and balance sheet (P&L) and liquidity (cash flow), accounts receivable (customer billing and invoicing) and payable.
- Assist Finance Manager in implementing financial plan for the company.
- Assist Finance Manager in devising business operational budgets and forecast and liaising with financial institutions on on-going use of facilities.
- Assist Finance Manager in managing company’s policies on expenditures to ensure proper justifications (including travel and expenses, etc.) and provide oversight on procurement activities.
- Assist Finance Manager in performing journal entries update to ledgers, accounts receivable and accounts payable, and any related general administrative tasks.
- Assist Finance Manager in recording and reporting cash flow transactions, and helping to perform reconciliation with bank statements.
- Assist Finance Manager and Office Manager in digitalizing past financial documents
- Assist Office Manager with administrative duties and any other ad-hoc assigned
