Job description for Finance Accounting Manager at PT. Midas Talenta Gemilang
A growing financial services company is looking for a Finance, Accounting & Tax Manager to lead its financial operations, accounting, tax compliance, and internal financial controls.
This role is ideal for a hands-on finance leader who is strong across Finance, Accounting, and Tax, highly analytical, and comfortable working closely with management in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily Finance, Accounting & Tax operations.
- Manage cash flow planning, payment execution, and financial administration.
- Oversee accounting closing, reconciliation, financial reporting, and management reporting.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records and supporting documents.
- Oversee tax calculations, reporting, payments, and overall tax compliance.
- Monitor tax risks and ensure compliance with applicable Indonesian tax regulations.
- Review financial transactions, reimbursements, commissions, payroll-related calculations, and other disbursements.
- Conduct regular reconciliation between bank statements, accounting records, operational data, and supporting documents.
- Coordinate with management, HR, Operations, and other departments on financial matters.
- Strengthen internal controls, SOPs, and approval processes to minimize errors, leakage, and fraud risk.
- Support internal and external audits and ensure financial records are audit-ready.
- Lead and develop the Finance & Accounting team.
- Improve finance, accounting, tax, reporting, and ERP/accounting system processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial/supervisory role.
- Strong and balanced experience across Finance, Accounting & Tax.
- Strong understanding of Indonesian tax compliance.
- Proven experience in financial reporting, accounting closing, reconciliation, cash flow, budgeting, and financial controls.
- Strong Excel and financial analysis skills.
- Experience with accounting software / ERP systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies and financial risks.
- Strong leadership, ownership, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Able to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
Preferred Profile
We are looking for someone who is hands-on, detail-driven, and commercially aware — someone who does not simply accept numbers at face value, but actively reconciles, investigates, and challenges inconsistencies.
You should be comfortable operating at both levels: deep in the numbers when necessary, while still able to provide management with clear financial insights and recommendations.
