Job description for Finance (Accounting and Tax) at Joy Play Culture
SENIOR FINANCE, ACCOUNTING & TAX (FAT)
PT Joy Play Culture is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Finance, Accounting & Tax (FAT) to manage the company's finance, accounting, and tax activities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Finance & Cash Management
- Manage daily payments, receipts, cash flow, and bank transactions.
- Prepare payment requests and ensure complete supporting documents and approvals.
- Handle bank reconciliation, petty cash, employee reimbursements, and advances.
- Monitor cash flow and prepare regular reports for management.
- Coordinate financial matters with internal departments.
2. Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Verify and process vendor, service provider, talent/host, and business partner payments.
- Monitor outstanding invoices, receivables, and payment due dates.
- Prepare invoices and ensure accurate recording of AP/AR transactions.
- Reconcile vendor and customer balances and resolve discrepancies.
3. Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Manage daily accounting transactions and monthly account reconciliation.
- Handle month-end and year-end closing.
- Prepare Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Cash Flow, and management reports.
- Analyze financial data and provide financial insights to management.
- Ensure accurate and complete accounting records.
4. Tax
- Manage the company's tax compliance in accordance with Indonesian tax regulations.
- Calculate and report PPh 21, PPh 23, PPh 4(2), PPh 25/29, and other applicable taxes.
- Handle tax administration through Coretax DJP.
- Reconcile tax and accounting data and maintain proper tax documentation.
- Coordinate with external tax consultants and monitor changes in tax regulations.
- Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field.
- Minimum 3–4 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, and Tax.
- Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, and Indonesian taxation.
- Experienced in financial statement preparation and month/year-end closing.
- Proficient in Coretax DJP and Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
- Experience handling audits and working with tax consultants is a plus.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Experience in entertainment, digital media, TikTok LIVE, MCN, e-commerce, or technology is a plus.
- Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
