Role Description
The Finance Accounting and Tax role is a contract position based in Jakarta, Indonesia, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows partial work from home. The role is responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements, maintaining accurate accounting records, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements. Daily tasks include processing transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank and ledger balances, and supporting monthly and annual closing activities. The role also involves analyzing financial data to provide insights for management, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders (such as tax authorities and auditors), and assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. The candidate will help implement and optimize accounting software and support continuous improvement of finance and accounting processes.
Qualifications:
- Diploma (D3) degree level in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 1 year experiences (min.) in Accounting or Finance
- Strong foundation in Accounting, Finance and Financial Statements, with the ability to prepare, review, and interpret financial reports.
- Proficient Analytical Skills to evaluate financial data, identify discrepancies, and provide actionable insights.
- Experience using Accounting Software and related digital tools to manage transactions and generate reports.
- Effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, liaise with auditors and tax authorities, and present financial information clearly.
- Knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards and tax regulations; experience in corporate tax reporting is an advantage.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in contractor, industrial services, or supply-chain-related businesses is a plus.
