Job description for Finance Accounting and Tax Manager at Kompeten
One of our clients in laboratory furniture manufacturing and design specialist company is currently looking for a Finance Accounting and Tax Manager with details as follows:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Economics, preferable in Financial Management.
- Age range: 35 to 40 years.
- At least three years of experience as a Finance Accounting and Tax Manager or in related profession.
- Having finance, accounting, or tax certification is preferable.
- Experienced in supervisory or assistant management positions, with leadership skills and the ability to work as a team.
- Strong data analysis skills are required to optimise the company's budgets and ensure the proper decisions are made.
- Great communication and presentation skills are required to effectively explain the data.
- Understand Indonesian treasury regulations, accounting policies, financial accounting and tax regulations.
- Expertise in financial modelling, budgeting tools, and advanced Excel skills.
- Capable of working under pressure to meet work targets.
- Knowledge of the relevant ERP systems. (Enterprise Resource Planning/ERP; concept for planning and managing company resources).
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise the Finance team's operations and submit monthly financial reports.
- Manage the company's financing activities and ensure that funds are used efficiently.
- Ensure that the day-to-day operational financial processing is carried out properly.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies into action to improve/efficiently spend finances.
- Develop policies and procedures for financial activity (such as payments, cancellation/refund processes, etc.).
- Establish and improve financial management systems, such as internal control, bookkeeping, planning, and expense management.
- Direct budget preparation, assess budget proposals, and provide supporting documents as needed.
- Understand taxation in order to review balance sheets, income taxes, etc.
- Follow changes in tax regulations and prepare tax reports on a regular basis.
