Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Merchandiser to produce sales by providing point-of-purchase and shelf management services. You will get the right product, in the right place, time, quantity and price.
Responsibilities:
- Planning and developing merchandising strategies.
- Have an instinctive feeling about future product.
- Planning budgets & presenting sales forecast OTB/Open To Buy (Sales, Margin, Inventory).
- Collaborating with buyers, suppliers, Operational and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities and time-scales.
- Plan and develop merchandising strategies that balance customers’ expectations and company’s objectives.
- Analyse sales figures, customers reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs and plan product ranges/stock.
- Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes, clear outs etc
Requirements:
- Proven working experience in merchandising.
- Bachelor degree in Fashion design or any related fields.
- Have knowledge in fashion retail.
- Up-to-date with the latest merchandising trends and best practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Strong listening, presentation and decision making skills.
- Commercial acumen and the ability to “decode” customers.
- Possess strong work resilience and able to perform well under pressure.
- Fluent in English both oral & written (Proficiency in Mandarin will be considered an advantage).
- Willing to be placed in Surabaya.
