Job description for Fashion Designer Assistant at Lazy Pajamas
Job Descriptions :
- Conduct trend, color, fabric and competitor research to support product development.
- Develop design concepts and style directions based on creative briefs.
- Create original textile prints, patterns, and graphic assets based on creative briefs and brand direction.
- Create and maintain tech packs based on product development requirements.
- Monitor sample revisions and ensure final samples accurately reflect the approved design.
- Track sample progress and ensure all deadlines are met according to the product development timeline.
Job Qualifications :
- Minimum D3/Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, Visual Arts or a related field.
- Basic understanding of fabrics, garment construction, and retail trends.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop.
- Nice to have : experience in developing patterns / prints.
- Ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a small, creative retail team.
