Job description for FARM SUPERVISOR at PT. TRIPPER NATURE
Placement: Gowa / Maros, South Sulawesi
Job Descriptions:
- Nursery Management by oversee seedling propagation, monitoring and schedule seedling availability.
- Land Preparation with supervise the land clearing, implement soil conditioning and field zoning plans according to agronomic specifications.
- Planting Execution by coordinating the field layout, conduct post-planting audits.
- Manage daily irrigation schedules and maintain field drainage systems.
- Plan harvest schedules based on crop maturity and market/sourcing quality spec.
- Assign daily tasks to regular and seasonal field workers, monitoring productivity and work quality.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Horticulture, Agriculture, or a related field (relevant field experience will be considered in lieu of a degree).
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on supervisory experience in commercial horticulture or crop plantation management.
- Technical Skills: Strong practical knowledge of nursery management, irrigation setups, soil preparation, crop nutrition, and pest control.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage, train, and direct local field labor crews. Localization: Familiarity with South Sulawesi soil conditions, climate patterns, and local labor practices in Maros or Gowa is strongly preferred.
- Logistics: Willingness to be based full-time at the farm site or commute daily to field locations in Gowa / Maros.
