Job description for Fabric & Development Manager at PT Miranda Moda Indonesia
Job Description :
1. Manage end-to-end material development, including fabric and trim sourcing, swatch evaluation, lab dip approval, and vendor coordination.
2. Oversee alternative material sourcing and evaluation based on MOQ, lead times, target costs, and quality requirements.
3. Maintain and update the material database, swatch library, and development status in Odoo and the Innovation & Development Dashboard.
4. Ensure sample apparel readiness and material alignment across Design, Sample Room, Procurement, and Production teams.
5. Lead Bill of Materials (BOM) creation, verification, and finalization in Odoo, ensuring accurate material consumption and costing support.
6. Oversee Purchase Request (PR) opening and processing in Odoo for both sample and bulk production materials.
7. Monitor PR approval workflows, vendor quotations/sales orders, and purchase orders in Odoo.
8. Synchronize development timelines and procurement activities with Design, Purchasing, Finance, and Production departments.
Requirements:
1. Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion/Product Design, Business Management, or related fields.
2. Minimum 2–3 years of experience at Managerial or Senior Supervisor level.
3. Strong knowledge of Product Development, Textile Science, Material Sourcing, Garment Construction, Tech Pack, BOM, Costing, and Quality Standards.
4. Proficient in Project Management, Vendor Negotiation, Problem Solving, PLM/ERP systems, and Google Workspace/MS Office.
5. Strong Leadership, Stakeholder Management, and cross-functional communication and collaboration skills.
6. Willing to work fully on-site in Bintaro, Tangerang Selatan.
