Role Overview
As an Export Marketing Staff – Buyer Sourcing, you will be responsible for identifying and developing potential international buyers, building strong business relationships, and supporting the export sales process. You will play an important role in expanding international market opportunities by conducting market research, approaching prospective buyers, presenting products, and supporting negotiations until a business agreement is reached.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct market research and identify potential international buyers based on target markets and product categories.
2. Contact prospective buyers, present products, and offer potential business collaborations.
3. Conduct regular follow-ups and negotiate with buyers regarding pricing, MOQ, payment terms, and shipping arrangements.
4. Maintain an up-to-date buyer database and build strong, professional relationships with international buyers.
5. Coordinate with internal teams and support the transaction process until a business agreement is successfully reached.
Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Marketing, or a related field.
2. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.
3. Basic knowledge of export activities, international trade, and buyer sourcing.
4. Strong market research and analytical skills with the ability to identify potential business opportunities.
5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to manage databases, conduct consistent follow-ups, and work with targets and deadlines.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
8. Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with customers and international buyers.
9. Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively with internal teams.
