Job Description

Manage and oversee all company export and import activities.
Ensure international shipments are executed on time and in accordance with established procedures.
Monitor customs clearance processes and ensure the completeness of export-import documentation.
Ensure the accuracy of documents such as Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading (B/L), Air Waybill (AWB), Import Declaration (PIB), and Export Declaration (PEB).
Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, transportation vendors, and Customs authorities.
Ensure compliance with customs regulations and international trade requirements.
Monitor and control logistics costs while identifying opportunities for operational efficiency.
Resolve operational issues related to shipments, customs clearance, and deliveries.
Negotiate pricing and service agreements with logistics vendors.
Oversee delivery operations to ensure customer satisfaction.
Prepare periodic export-import operational reports.
Analyze operational performance and recommend process improvements.
Lead, coach, and evaluate the performance of the Export Import team.
Ensure operational KPIs are achieved effectively.
Maintain effective communication and coordination with internal departments and external business partners.

Qualifications

Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Management, International Business, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Export Import, Logistics, or Freight Forwarding.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a Supervisor or Manager role.
Strong understanding of export-import processes and customs clearance.
Proficient in export-import documentation and customs procedures.
Good knowledge of HS Code classification and Incoterms.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Proven ability to negotiate with vendors and logistics partners.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
Familiar with ERP systems or logistics software.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Fluent in both spoken and written English.
Detail-oriented, disciplined, and able to work under pressure.
Target-oriented with strong time management skills.
Willing to coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders.
Customs or Export-Import certification is an advantage.
