Job Description: Export Import (Exim) Specialist – PPJK Licensed
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Export Import (Exim) Specialist who holds an active PPJK license (Customs Expert Certification). In this role, you will independently manage our end-to-end import operations, handle customs clearance via the EDI/Customs module, and maintain corporate trade compliance. [1, 2, 3, 4]
📋 Key Responsibilities
• Customs Clearance & PPJK: Prepare, review, and submit PIB (Import Declaration) and PEB (Export Declaration) documents directly using the company’s Customs Module. [1, 2]
• HS Code & Tariff Classification: Accurately classify HS Codes for imported materials to ensure correct duty and tax calculations while preventing penalties. [1, 2]
• Permit & License Management: Identify and process necessary import permits or restrictions (Lartas) with ministries and institutions (e.g., INSW, Ministry of Trade). [1, 2]
• Shipment & Logistics Coordination: Coordinate international shipping flows from the port of origin to our internal warehouse by collaborating with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and domestic transporters. [1, 2]
• Customs Issue Resolution: Act as the primary liaison with Customs officers to handle issues such as physical inspections (Red Channel), SPTNP (tax/tariff corrections), or cargo delays. [1, 2]
• Documentation & Record Keeping: Maintain organized filing for all shipment and customs folders (B/L, Invoice, Packing List, SPPB) for internal and customs audit readiness. [1, 2, 3]
🛠️ Job Requirements
• Experience: 3–4 years of solid experience handling export-import operations, specifically with a background in Freight Forwarding, Transportation, Logistics, or Manufacturing. [1]
• Mandatory Certification: Must hold an active PPJK License / Sertifikat Ahli Kepabeanan registered with Indonesian Customs. [1, 2]
• Technical Skills:
•Strong working knowledge of Indonesian customs regulations, import procedures, and tax schemes.
•Proficient in operating PIB/PEB Customs Modules and navigating the INSW system. [1]
• Problem-Solving & Networking: Proven capability to handle customs operations on-site and maintain professional communication with Customs officials. [1]
• Language & Tools: Good command of English for international trade documentation and corporate email correspondence. Proficient in MS Excel. [1]
• Education: Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's degree (D3/S1) in Logistics, International Trade, Business, or a related field
