The National Institute of Education (NIE) invites applications for the Executive position in the Office of Graduate Studies & Professional Learning.
You will be responsible for providing logistical and administrative support for NIE’s professional development and continuing education programmes and courses. This includes, but not limited to the following:
• Prepare and publish course information on various online platforms, such as MOE’s OPAL, NIE’s PLaCE, SSG’s TPGateway, and One@ECDA.
• Prepare publicity and outreach material for NIE courses using Adobe InDesign and Photoshop etc
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, such as NIE faculty, MOE officers, course participants and other organisations on course matters.
• Manage and track course registration, enquiries, and collection of fees.
• Collate course evaluation results and prepare summary reports.
• Prepare billing instructions for issuing of invoices.
• Provide logistical support to courses instructors, such as the preparation of attendance list, booking of course venue, ordering of refreshments, etc.
• Provide support for NIE/NTU events, such as convocation, graduation ceremonies, publicity fairs, etc.
• Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.
• Experience with producing publicity and outreach material using Adobe InDesign and Photoshop etc will be advantageous.
• Preferably two years of experience working in training institutions offering CET.
• Good written and spoken English communication skills.
• Meticulous, with an eye for detail and good with statistical figures.
• Able to multi-task and keep a close follow up on tasks.
• Self-motivated, resourceful, and able to adapt to changes well.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including demonstrated experience in teamwork and cross-functional collaboration.
• Possess a service-oriented mindset and strong organisational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
NIE staff can take chartered buses at their own expense from or near their homes to the NIE campus. This is subject to availability of seats.
