Job description for Executive Housekeeping at Yuan Garden Hotel Pasar Baru
Qualifications:
1. Minimum Diploma (D3) in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field.
2. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in hotel Housekeeping, including at least 2 years in a managerial position, preferably as Executive Housekeeper or Assistant Executive Housekeeper.
3. Previous experience in a 4-star or 5-star hotel is required.
4. Strong knowledge of hotel Housekeeping operations, including guest room cleaning standards, public area maintenance, linen and uniform management, inventory control, and Lost & Found procedures.
5. Proven ability to lead, supervise, train, and develop Housekeeping teams, including Supervisors, Room Attendants, and Public Area Attendants.
6. Strong understanding of departmental budgeting, cost control, productivity, and inventory management.
7. Good knowledge of hotel hygiene, sanitation, occupational health and safety, and proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
8. Able to develop, implement, and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintain consistent service quality.
9. Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) or Housekeeping systems.
10. Good command of Bahasa Indonesia and English, both written and spoken.
11. Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
12. Detail-oriented, guest-focused, proactive, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced hotel environment.
13. Able to coordinate effectively with Front Office, Engineering, Human Resources, Purchasing, and Finance.
14. Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, according to hotel operational requirements.
