Job description for English Translator at PT. Mega Akses Antarbangsa (AMPM Sworn Translator)
Key responsibilities
- Translate documents from Indonesian to English and vice versa
- Conduct quality checks on translation results
- Ensure accuracy of terminology, grammar, format, and document context
- Coordinate with relevant teams regarding document needs and revisions
- Maintain confidentiality of all client documents and information
- Complete work according to specified quality standards and deadlines
About you
- Minimum S1 qualification in English Literature or equivalent
- Active English language proficiency, both spoken and written
- Ability to translate between Indonesian and English effectively
- Strong understanding of grammar, vocabulary, and language structure
- Detail-oriented with ability to maintain consistency in translation results
- Able to work to targets and deadlines
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
- Translation experience is an added value
