Job description for English Trainer at PT Sangga Bisnis Anda
Job Desc:
As an English Trainer, you will be responsible for providing English language training to adult learners with diverse needs, ranging from beginner to advanced levels. You will design and implement effective learning programs tailored to students’ needs, including courses in everyday conversation, business English, and English test preparation (such as IELTS and TOEFL). You will play a key role in guiding and motivating students to achieve the language skills they need in both professional and daily life.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver English learning materials tailored to students' proficiency levels and learning goals.
- Use interactive teaching methods and digital technology to facilitate effective learning in both in-person and online classes.
- Conduct regular evaluations of students' progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Guide students in preparing for standardized English exams (such as IELTS, TOEFL) by offering strategies and techniques to improve their test scores.
- Adapt materials and teaching approaches based on students' levels, from beginner to advanced, according to their needs.
- Collaborate with the academic team to continuously enhance curriculum quality and teaching methods.
Qualification:
- A bachelor's degree from a reputable university in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred. A degree in another field if combined with relevant experience or certifications may be accepted. Preferably graduated from International University
- Min teaching experience +1 years
- Proven experience in teaching an adult class (English Conversation, Business English) or with standardised test preparation class
- Min C1+ level in English / IELTS 7.0 / TOEFL iBT 110-120 / TOEFL ITP >630 proven by the test certificate, preferably IELTS.
- Have TEFL/TESOL/CELTA Certification will be a plus
- Familiarity with online teaching platforms, educational software, and digital resources is important.
