We’re Hiring: Part-Time English Trainer/Teacher (Hybrid Role – Bali)

Active English Bali is a vibrant English language school dedicated to making learning interactive, personal, and effective. With small class sizes and dynamic teaching methods, we offer a wide range of programs – from general and conversational English to business, hospitality, ESP, and exam preparation – for both local and international learners.
The Role
We’re looking for a passionate, professional, and adaptable English teacher to join our team in a part-time hybrid position. You’ll be teaching both in-person and online across different levels, designing engaging lessons, tracking student progress, and fostering a supportive and motivating classroom environment. You’ll also collaborate with a friendly team and take part in ongoing training and professional development.
What You’ll Do
- Create interactive, goal-focused lesson plans
- Conduct assessments and prepare class reports
- Monitor student performance and provide constructive feedback
- Teach English to learners of all ages and levels (in-person and online)
- Participate in training sessions and complete administrative duties such as attendance records, lesson reports, student assessments, and timely communication with the academic team
What We’re Looking For
- Fluent in English (minimum C1 level)
- At least one year of teaching experience
- Comfortable teaching both kids and adults
- Bachelor’s degree (English major preferred)
- Based in Bali (Denpasar, Badung, or Gianyar)
- Communicative and empathetic when working with students and colleagues
- A lifelong learner who embraces challenges with a solution-oriented mindset
