Job description for English Teacher (Full-time) - Gading Serpong at Edukita
About the role:
As our English Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in educating and inspiring young learners. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education, adept at creating engaging lessons, and committed to helping students achieve their language learning objectives. You will be responsible for delivering dynamic lessons, and regularly assessing student progress.
You will be responsible for leading and teaching children - teenagers in OFFLINE Clasess
You will be responsible for:
- Delivering high-quality, engaging English lessons aligned with Edukita’s curriculum and teaching standards (up to 20 teaching hours per week).
- Preparing lesson plans, learning materials, and activities suited for young learners.
- Assessing and monitoring student progress through regular evaluations, feedback, and reporting.
- Managing classroom dynamics effectively, ensuring a positive, safe, and supportive learning environment.
- Communicating with parents when necessary to provide updates on student progress.
- Being on-call/ready as needed within the agreed weekly hours for make-up classes, special sessions, or urgent teaching needs.
- Collaborating with the academic team to continuously improve teaching methods and student experience.
- Maintaining professionalism and reliability as part of the teaching team.
Requirements:
- 2–4 years of experience teaching English to young learners
- Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching approaches.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative, energetic, and patient, with a genuine passion for teaching.
- Strong instincts in working with children of various ages.
- Confident in managing group-based classes, especially in offline settings
- Willing to work on-site in Tangerang Selatan area (Bintaro, BSD, Gading Serpong).
- Availability must be within these schedules : Weekdays: 12.30 – 19.00 and Saturday: 08.30 – 15.00
