Job description for English Science Teacher at Hexxa Academy
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) in English Education, English Literature, Science Education, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Elementary Education, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of teaching experience in English and/or Science.
- Experience teaching Primary / Elementary School students is preferred.
- Strong command of English, both spoken and written.
- Familiar with International Curriculum, such as Cambridge, IGCSE, IB, or other international curricula.
- Able to explain academic concepts clearly and in an age-appropriate manner.
- Experience in home tutoring / private tutoring is an advantage.
- Patient, responsible, communicative, and adaptable.
- Creative in developing engaging learning activities.
- Able to work independently and communicate effectively with parents.
- Willing to conduct home visits in Puri Indah, Cengkareng, West Jakarta.
- Available for a part-time teaching schedule based on the student's schedule.
Special Needs Requirement
- Able to teach and accompany students with special needs.
- Experience working with ASD, ADHD, learning difficulties, speech delay, or other special educational needs is highly preferred.
- Able to adapt teaching methods, learning materials, and communication approaches according to the student's individual needs.
- Patient and empathetic when working with students with special needs.
- Able to create a safe, supportive, and comfortable learning environment.
- Experience working with parents, therapists, psychologists, or other professionals is an advantage.
