Job description for ENGINEERING at LUNATICA BALI
We are looking for a reliable and skilled Maintenance Engineer to maintain our residential properties in Bali. You will be responsible for ensuring all pool systems, garden areas, and general facilities are clean, functional, and well-maintained to the highest standard.
Key responsibilities
Inspect, clean, and maintain swimming pools — balancing chemicals, backwashing filters, and checking pumps
Troubleshoot and repair pool equipment including motors, pumps, heaters, and lighting
Perform routine garden maintenance: mowing, trimming, planting, watering, and pest control
Maintain irrigation systems and garden drainage
Conduct general facility checks — plumbing, minor electrical, painting, and structural repairs
Record maintenance logs and report major issues to the property manager
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
Requirements
Minimum 1 year experience in pool maintenance, landscaping, or facilities engineering
Basic understanding of pool chemistry and filtration systems
Hands-on skills in minor plumbing and electrical work
Comfortable working outdoors in Bali's tropical climate
Owns or has access to reliable transport
Good time management — ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Certificate or vocational training in engineering/maintenance is an advantage
