Engineering

THE ROLE:

This is a hands-on, standalone engineering role. As the first engineering team member, the successful candidate will independently manage day-to-day engineering, maintenance, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and technical response across the villa property. External specialists will be engaged when required for complex or specialized works. As NueState expands, there will be opportunities to build and lead an engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guest Recovery & Emergency Response – Respond quickly to guest complaints and technical emergencies including power outages, water leaks, AC failures, smart lock issues, pump failures, and internet disruptions.
• Electrical Maintenance – Troubleshoot and maintain lighting systems, switches, sockets, MCBs, and distribution boards.
• Plumbing Maintenance – Repair leaks, toilets, faucets, drainage systems, and perform routine maintenance.
• HVAC Maintenance – Conduct AC inspections, cleaning, troubleshooting, and coordinate specialist repairs when required.
• Mechanical & Utility Systems – Maintain pumps, water heaters, exhaust systems, and utility equipment.
• Carpentry & Finishing – Repair doors, windows, furniture, cabinetry, and perform painting touch-ups.
• Pool Maintenance – Monitor water quality, filtration systems, and pool equipment performance.
• IT & Smart Villa Systems – Support WiFi, routers, smart TVs, CCTV, and smart lock systems.
• Preventive Maintenance – Perform scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance activities.
• Health, Safety & Compliance – Follow HSE requirements, PPE standards, and safe work practices.
• Documentation & Reporting – Complete work orders, maintenance reports, and inspection records.
