Responsibilities
Design and develop: Create plans for new equipment and installations, and design manufacturing processes
Test and analyze: Test equipment and systems to ensure quality and improve production methods
Manage projects: Oversee projects, budgets, and teams of engineers and technicians
Ensure compliance: Make sure products and processes meet industry regulations and standards
Calculate costs: Determine the costs of production, labor, and materials
Prepare reports: Collect, analyze, and summarize information to prepare reports on products and processes
Maintain and repair: Maintain and repair assembly lines
Research and improve: Research, design, modify, and test manufacturing methods and equipment
