Job description for Electrical Engineer at Global Consultant Design
MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) Engineer (1 Position)
Position: Electrical Design Engineer
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Pantai Indah Kapuk 2 (PIK), North Jakarta
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare electrical engineering designs and calculations for building and infrastructure projects.
- Develop electrical system layouts, single-line diagrams, lighting, power distribution, grounding, and lightning protection systems.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP engineers, and other project stakeholders.
- Prepare design reports, technical specifications, BOQs, and engineering documentation.
- Review design drawings to ensure compliance with Indonesian regulations, SNI standards, and applicable codes.
- Provide technical support throughout the design process and respond to client comments and design revisions.
- Attend project coordination meetings when required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in electrical design consulting or engineering consultancy.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with ETAP, Dialux, Revit MEP, or other electrical design software is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of Indonesian electrical codes, SNI standards, PUIL, and relevant regulations.
- Experience in commercial, industrial, residential, or infrastructure projects.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in English is required. Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
- Professional certification (SKK) is an advantage.
