GoodNovel Indonesia Is Hiring: Full-Time Online Novel Editor
I. About the Role
As an Online Novel Editor, you will find promising stories, guide writers, and help improve online novels for digital readers.
You will work closely with writers and senior editors to develop better stories, maintain regular updates, and understand what readers enjoy.
This position is suitable for people who love online novels and want to build a long-term career in digital publishing.
II. Job Details
- Employment Type: Full-Time (Permanent)
- Location: Onsite, Kuningan, South Jakarta
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
III. What You Will Do
- Find promising writers and review novel submissions based on story quality and market potential.
- Help writers improve their story ideas, plots, characters, pacing, consistency, and reader engagement.
- Give clear and useful feedback on story and language issues.
- Monitor story progress, revisions, update schedules, and overall performance.
- Build good working relationships with writers and help solve creative or work-related problems.
- Keep up with online novel trends and reader preferences.
- Work with the editorial team to manage different projects and meet targets and deadlines.

V. Requirements

- Have a strong command of Bahasa Indonesia and a good command of English.
- Knowledge of Chinese or the Chinese webnovel market is a plus.
- Able to notice plot problems, story inconsistencies, pacing issues, and language errors.
- Able to communicate clearly and give constructive feedback.
- Patient, responsible, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with different people.
- Able to manage several projects, targets, and deadlines.
- Willing to learn and accept feedback.
- Available to work onsite in Kuningan, South Jakarta.
- Interested in building a long-term career in online novel editing.
