Job description for Duty Manager at House of Tugu Jakarta
Key Responsibilities :
- Be present on the floor and ensure seamless daily operations across all departments.
- Maintain 5-star hygiene and cleanliness standards throughout the property.
- Support the Operations & Guest Experience Manager in supervising and training teams.
- Handle guest requests, feedback, and unexpected situations with professionalism and empathy.
- Lead by example, ensuring every guest interaction reflects Tugu’s soul and storytelling.
- Monitor facilities, F&B outlets, and public areas for consistency and quality.
- Communicate effectively between departments to guarantee smooth guest journeys.
Requirements :
Minimum D3/S1 in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Tourism, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in hotel operations, preferably in Duty Manager, Assistant Front Office Manager, Front Office Supervisor, or similar supervisory roles.
- Experience in boutique, luxury, heritage, or 4–5 star hotel is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of Front Office, Housekeeping, and F&B operations.
- Excellent leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to handle guest complaints and operational issues professionally and efficiently.
- Strong attention to guest experience, service excellence, and operational standards.
- Good command of English, both spoken and written.
- Familiar with VHP/POS and hotel operational systems.
- Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
