Job description for Drafter at PT Global Indep Consultants Indonesia
We are looking for a skilled, detail-oriented, and motivated Drafter to join our design and construction team. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in AutoCAD and SketchUp, a good understanding of construction drawings, and the ability to work accurately and efficiently across multiple projects.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare and revise 2D construction drawings using AutoCAD.
- Create 3D models using SketchUp.
- Prepare floor plans, elevations, sections, details, and setting-out drawings.
- Process drawing revisions based on redlines.
- Maintain the drawing register and version control.
- Attend site visits to check dimensions and as-built conditions.
- Support multiple ongoing construction projects across Bali.
Requirements :
- Minimum 2 years of experience in architectural or construction drafting.
- Proficient in SketchUp and AutoCAD.
- Able to produce accurate 2D construction drawings and 3D models.
- Understands floor plans, elevations, sections, setting-out plans, and detail drawings.
- Able to work from architectural drawings, redlines, and site markups.
- Detail-oriented, accurate, fast, and able to manage drawing revisions.
- Able to work independently while following direction from the design lead.
- Willing to attend project sites to verify dimensions and as-built conditions.
- Working English is required for reading drawing markups and communicating with the design and construction team.
- Minimum SMK Bangunan or equivalent. D3 Architecture/Civil Engineering is preferred but not required.
