Job description for Drafter Engineer (MEP) at PT Megadaya Tangguh

Drafter Engineer (MEP)

PT Space Technology Group (PT Megadaya Tangguh is seeking a Drafter Engineer (MEP) to support EPC and power plant projects. This role is responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings, calculating quantities, and coordinating with engineering and site teams to ensure drawings meet project specifications and standards.

Job Requirements:

Prepared and revised shop drawings and as-built drawings for electrical and MEP works
Developed SLD, panel layouts, and electrical component drawings based on load calculations
Produced 2D/3D technical drawings using AutoCAD and SketchUp
Calculated MTO and electrical quantities based on drawings and BOQ
Assisted in BOQ/RAB preparation for tender and additional works
Coordinated with engineers and site teams to ensure drawing accuracy
Updated drawings based on site conditions and design changes
Organized drawing archives and supported progress reporting
Ensured drawings comply with technical standards and project specifications

Job Responsibilities:

S1 Electrical Engineering / Instrumentation
Knowledge of electrical systems and standards
Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Microsoft Excel (BOQ/MTO)
Understanding of shop drawings and as-built drawings
Experience in industrial or power plant projects is an advantage
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented and able to work cross-discipline
Willing to work on-site, Jabodetabek preferred
