Job description for Divemaster at Silolona Sojourns
Requirements:
- Indonesian citizen (WNI).
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Certified Divemaster (PADI or equivalent).
- Experience guiding dives in Indonesia.
- Knowledge of key dive destinations such as Raja Ampat, Alor, Komodo, Cenderawasih Bay, and Banda Sea.
- Strong safety awareness and guest service mindset.
- Able to work in remote locations and live onboard
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise guided dives for guests.
- Conduct dive briefings and ensure all safety procedures are followed.
- Scout and assess dive sites before guest activities.
- Maintain and prepare dive equipment.
- Assist guests with gear setup and underwater guidance.
- Coordinate daily dive plans with the Trip Leader, captain, and crew.
- Ensure guest safety and respond calmly in emergency situations.
