DIRECTOR OF SALES & MARKETING (DOSM)
Qualifications:
1. Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in hotel Sales & Marketing, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial or leadership position, preferably as Director of Sales & Marketing, Director of Sales, or Sales & Marketing Manager.
3. Previous experience in a 4-star or 5-star hotel is required, preferably in a full-service hotel with corporate and MICE business segments.
4. Proven track record of achieving sales targets, increasing hotel revenue, developing new business opportunities, and maintaining existing accounts.
5. Strong knowledge of hotel sales strategies, market segmentation, business development, competitor analysis, and sales forecasting.
6. Established business network and experience handling Corporate, Government, Travel Agent, Online Travel Agent (OTA), and MICE accounts.
7. Strong understanding of room revenue, occupancy, Average Daily Rate (ADR), Revenue per Available Room (RevPAR), and other hotel commercial performance indicators.
8. Able to develop and execute annual sales and marketing plans, departmental budgets, revenue targets, and promotional strategies in coordination with the General Manager and Revenue Management team.
9. Familiar with digital marketing, online distribution channels, social media marketing, hotel website promotion, and online reputation management.
10. Experienced in leading, motivating, coaching, and evaluating Sales & Marketing teams to achieve departmental targets.
11. Strong negotiation, presentation, networking, communication, and client relationship management skills.
12. Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with hotel PMS, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, sales reporting tools, and relevant distribution platforms.
13. Good command of Bahasa Indonesia and English, both written and spoken.
14. Strong analytical, strategic planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
15. Results-oriented, commercially minded, proactive, and able to work under pressure while managing multiple priorities.
16. Able to work collaboratively with the General Manager and other departments to maximize hotel revenue and profitability.
17. Willing to work flexible hours, attend client meetings and business events, and travel when required by hotel operations.
