Job description for Digital Growth Manager (B2B SaaS) at Zanbio

Position Overview:

This position is responsible for creating and executing strategies to drive awareness, generate qualified leads, and fuel revenue growth for the B2B SaaS business. This role focuses on managing the digital marketing strategy, optimizing campaigns across various channels, and ensuring alignment between marketing and sales teams to meet business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of B2B SaaS marketing, lead generation, hands-on experience with key demand creation approaches including digital advertising, website optimization, nurture programs, email, events, webinars as well as expertise in leveraging data-driven insights to optimize campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

Demand Generation Strategy:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive demand generation strategy to attract, engage, and convert target audiences.
  • Own the digital marketing strategy, including paid ads, SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and content marketing.
  • Align campaigns with the customer journey to ensure a seamless lead nurturing process.

Campaign Planning and Execution:

  • Plan, launch, and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns to achieve lead generation and revenue goals.
  • Manage paid advertising platforms such as LinkedIn Ads and Google Ads
  • Oversee the creation of landing pages, ad creatives, and email sequences to drive conversions.

Lead Management:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to define lead qualification criteria (MQLs, SQLs) and ensure efficient lead handoff.
  • Implement lead nurturing campaigns using marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp, Marketo, or Pardot).
  • Continuously optimize lead scoring models and workflows to improve pipeline efficiency.

Data and Analytics:

  • Track and analyze campaign performance metrics (CPL, CAC, conversion rates, ROI) to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Conduct A/B testing to optimize campaign performance across channels.
  • Provide regular reporting on the impact of demand generation efforts on the sales pipeline and revenue.

Collaboration and Alignment:

  • Work closely with content marketing, product marketing, and design teams to create assets for campaigns.
  • Partner with the sales team to align marketing efforts with sales goals and provide sales enablement materials.
  • Coordinate with the customer success team to leverage customer insights and testimonials in campaigns.

Budget and Resource Management:

  • Manage the demand generation budget to maximize ROI while staying within financial constraints.
  • Evaluate and manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and tools. 7. Continuous Improvement
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging technologies in digital marketing.
  • Test and implement new tools, channels, and strategies to stay ahead in the B2B SaaS market.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B demand generation, digital marketing, or a related role, preferably within the SaaS industry.
  • Proven track record of driving qualified leads and contributing to revenue growth. Skills:
  • Ability to flourish in an extremely fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • You have attention to detail and a no-project-too-small mentality
  • You have a track record of leading Demand Generation Campaigns in B2B SaaS Businesses
  • You know your way around paid media platforms (LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads) and marketing automation tools
  • You use analytics to make decisions and aren’t afraid to guide experimentation across various creatives and channels. You make hypotheses on these experiments and measure the results in real time.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

You will be measured on:

  • Inbound Opportunity creation
  • Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) and marketing ROI.
  • Website traffic and engagement metrics (organic, paid, and direct)
  • Creating a great brand and user experience
  • Performance of digital marketing campaigns (CTR, CPL, etc.).

Reporting Structure:

Reports to: CEO / Head of Marketing

Works closely with:

Sales, Content Marketing, Product Team, and Design teams
