Job description for Digital Content Creator & Trend Strategist at Start Friday Asia Brand & Business Strategy Consulting

Job Description

Create short-form and long-form content (IG/TikTok/Reels/YouTube/etc) from idea to execution: script, shot list, basic editing, and publishing.
Track trends daily (audio, formats, memes, creators, platform updates) and translate them into content ideas that fit the brand.
Build a weekly content plan: hooks, captions, CTA, and posting rhythm.
Collaborate with design, social media, and marketing teams to keep content consistent with brand tone.
Monitor performance (views, watch time, saves, shares) and iterate based on what works.
Coordinate simple production needs: talent/crew, props, locations, and content deadlines.

Qualifications

Proven portfolio in creating social-first content (especially short-form video).
Strong sense of trends + ability to adapt trends without looking “copy-paste.”
Basic skills in editing tools (CapCut/Premiere/Final Cut) and simple motion/text.
Comfortable on-camera or directing talent (optional but a plus).
Understands content metrics and can turn data into improvements.
Fast, organized, and consistent with deadlines.
