We are looking for proactive DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will ensure the smooth deployment and maintenance of our software applications. You will be responsible for implementing efficient deployment processes, managing server infrastructure, and maintaining the overall reliability and performance of our systems.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and automate deployment processes for our software applications.
- Manage and maintain server infrastructure, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
- Monitor system health and performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
- Collaborate with development teams to establish efficient release pipelines.
- Work with cross-functional teams to optimize application performance and scalability.
- Implement and maintain configuration management tools and practices.
- Ensure the security and integrity of our systems and data.
- Participate in capacity planning and scalability assessments.
- Contribute to technical planning, system architecture, and code quality improvements.
- Participate in on-call support, incident response, recovery activities, and postmortems as needed to ensure production reliability.
- Support production operations by maintaining a strong commitment to system availability and timely issue resolution.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in DevOps and cloud infrastructure.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a DevOps Engineer
- Strong understanding of deployment in software and web development (e.g., WordPress, NodeJS, React, Laravel) methodologies and best practices.
- Experience managing and maintaining server infrastructure, preferably in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Digital Ocean).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation and infrastructure management.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Chef, Puppet, Ansible).
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI).
- Understanding of networking principles and protocols.
- Have a strong understanding of Version Control System and the use of tool (e.g., GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket).
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work on-site (WFO) in Sleman, Yogyakarta.
