Job Description
Understanding customer requirements and projects
Building and setting up DevSecOps tools
Design CI/CD Production-Ready Pipeline
Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operations
Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible
Mentoring and guiding the customer's team members regarding DevSecOps
Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
Research on New DevSecOps Tools
Improving existing CI/CD Pipelines
Work alongside project management teams to successfully monitor progress and implementation of initiatives
Requirements
Minimum of a Diploma (D3) in Informatics, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Proficient in Linux operating systems (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL).
Understanding of networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, Load Balancer, Firewall.
Experience managing on-premises servers and/or cloud infrastructure.
Experience using one or more cloud platforms: AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch) or GCP (Compute Engine, GKE)
Proficient in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Bamboo, or Bitbucket.
Experience using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) such as Ansible.
Proficient in Docker for containerization.
Experience using Kubernetes or OpenShift (deployment, scaling, monitoring).
Experience using monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus & Grafana, the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), or cloud-native monitoring tools.
Ability to systematically troubleshoot and handle incidents.
Proficient in at least one scripting or programming language such as Bash, Python, or Go.
