Desktop Support Engineer

PT Inno Prima Material, as a subsidiary of SEMCORP, urgently hiring for: Desktop Support Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site technical assistance to employees regarding hardware, software, and peripherals (PCs, laptops, printers, scanners, mobile devices).
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows OS, Microsoft Office 365, Outlook, and other enterprise applications.
• Deploy and manage enterprise-grade network devices, including core/access switches, firewalls, and wireless controllers.
• Design and implement cross-border connectivity solutions such as IPSec VPN, SSL VPN, SD-WAN or MPLS leased lines to ensure secure and stable communication with China HQ.
• Deploy and administer Windows Server and Linux systems, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, file services, and access control architecture.
• Manage virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware vSphere), including resource pool planning, HA configuration, and backup strategy design.
• Implement endpoint management including patch management, software deployment, disk encryption, and EDR security protection.
• Establish IT security framework including access control policies, log auditing, system hardening baselines, and vulnerability scanning mechanisms.
• Ensure IT systems comply with Indonesian local regulations and corporate information security policies.
• Establish IT operational processes aligned with ITIL framework, including Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
• Implement monitoring and alerting systems (e.g., Zabbix, PRTG, or similar platforms) to enhance availability and observability.
• Develop and test data backup and disaster recovery strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of enterprise IT infrastructure and operations experience; overseas project experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP stack, OSI model, and structured network troubleshooting methodologies.
• Hands-on experience configuring and optimizing enterprise network equipment (e.g., Cisco, Huawei, or equivalent vendors).
• Experience with server virtualization, storage architecture, and high-availability cluster deployment.
• Familiarity with information security frameworks; understanding of ISO 27001 is a plus.
• Strong project management skills with ability to coordinate vendors and cross-functional teams.
• Fluent English communication skills to collaborate effectively with China HQ.
• High resilience and entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable handling multiple roles in an early-stage overseas setup.
• Proficiency in Chinese is highly preferred. The ability to understand basic Chinese instructions is mandatory for effective collaboration with our Group Headquarters in China.
