Design Lead, Office Fit-Out (ME and Plumbing Coordination)

ABOUT US
PT Intermulti Kreasi is a design and build interior contractor for offices and commercial spaces. One team carries each project from concept and construction drawings through build and handover, so the people who draw it stay close to how it gets built.
THE ROLE
We are looking for the person who draws our ME and plumbing coordination and makes our drawings buildable. You will produce lighting, power, data and plumbing drawings yourself, set the standard for our construction documentation, and give technical sign-off on every drawing set before it reaches site. You will lead a small design team and work closely with our Project Managers.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Produce and coordinate ME and plumbing drawings: lighting and power layouts, data points, reflected ceiling coordination with sprinklers, detectors and AC, water supply and drainage routing
- Own the construction drawing standard: drawing index, title block, document numbering, revision control, revision clouds and transmittals
- Build and maintain our CAD template and library of typical details
- Give technical sign-off on every working drawing set; the Project Manager remains the release gate owner
- Review shop drawings from ME subcontractors and specialist vendors
- Coach designers and our drafter: show the standard, check their work, give direct feedback
- Present technical solutions to clients and building management
- Visit sites to verify dimensions and resolve issues, including evening hours when buildings require night work
- Support quantity take-off from drawings for cost estimates
- Run several projects at once without letting quality slip
MUST HAVE
- A portfolio with ME and plumbing coordination drawings you produced yourself, plus construction drawings, not only renders
- Minimum 3 years in interior design and technical documentation, including office or commercial fit-out
- Experience reviewing or checking other people's drawings
- Working knowledge of interior ME and plumbing: lighting and power layouts, ceiling coordination, water and drainage routing
- Advanced AutoCAD and SketchUp
- Clear communicator in Bahasa Indonesia and English, confident with senior clients
- Detail-driven and comfortable saying no to a drawing that is not ready
NICE TO HAVE
- Lighting calculation (DIALux or similar)
- Quantity take-off, BOQ, or material specifications
- Rendering (V-Ray, Lumion, or Enscape), Photoshop, Illustrator or CorelDRAW
- BIM or Revit experience
- Experience with building management approvals in Jakarta office towers
- Mandarin
