Job description for DATABASE PROGRAMMER & SYSTEM ANALYST at PIZI
We are looking for a System Analyst to analyze, define, and translate business, functional, and technical requirements into a comprehensive system design for an integrated Learning System.
The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders, developers, database designers, and system administrators to ensure the system design aligns with organizational objectives, user needs, and technical feasibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct stakeholder consultations and needs assessments to identify business processes, user requirements, and system objectives.
- Analyze existing systems, workflows, and data structures related to the Learning System.
- Define functional and non-functional system requirements.
- Develop system specifications, including use cases, process flows, data flows, and system architecture requirements.
- Prepare system design and requirement documentation, including BRD, FSD, and SRS.
- Coordinate with developers, database designers, and system administrators to ensure system design feasibility and consistency.
- Support system integration planning, including interoperability with external systems and data sources.
- Participate in system testing, validation, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure requirements are properly implemented.
- Provide recommendations for system improvements, scalability, security, and long-term sustainability.
- Prepare documentation and reports to support system development, implementation, and maintenance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a System Analyst, Business System Analyst, or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of business and system requirements analysis.
- Experience in preparing BRD, FSD, SRS, use cases, and system documentation.
- Familiarity with system integration, data flows, and system architecture concepts.
- Experience in system testing and UAT.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.
- Experience in Learning Management Systems (LMS) or education technology projects is a plus.
